Dr. P. Rammanohar

Dr. P. Rammanohar is Director of the Amrita Centre for Advanced Research in Ayurveda, Amrita School of Ayurveda, and Part-Time Member of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine, Government of India. He serves as Research Advisor to the Indian National Science Academy and Co-Chair of the Special Interest Group on Ayurveda of the Society for Integrative Oncology, USA. Over three decades, he has led pioneering research in evidence-based Ayurveda, including NIH-funded and AYUSH-supported projects, as well as initiatives funded by MeitY, DST, and the IKS Division of the Ministry of Education. His contributions span Prakriti-based research, integrative oncology, Ayurvedic dietetics, and digital learning innovations such as AyurCeL. He has served as Expert Member for WHO's development of Standard Terminologies for Ayurveda. Recipient of the Ayurveda Ratan Award (UK), IASTAM Award, and Raghavan Thirumulpad Puraskaram, he continues to advance rigorous, integrative, and authentic approaches to Ayurveda research and education.
